Cats can need a nutritional boost for very different reasons. A recovering or underweight cat may need extra calories, a senior may benefit from a multivitamin, and a cat with a dull coat may need omega-3 support. We compared five supplements that cover these distinct needs rather than pretending one product does everything. In our evaluation we found that the right pick depends entirely on the goal. A high-calorie gel is the wrong tool for a healthy cat that just needs coat support, and an omega oil will not help a cat that is struggling to maintain weight. Supplements should complement a complete diet, not replace veterinary care, so we recommend confirming the underlying issue with your veterinarian before choosing. That is especially true for weight loss, appetite changes, or anything that points to an unconfirmed health concern.
