That selective feeding leads to unbalanced nutrition fast. Oxbow’s uniform pellets aim to fix exactly that, and we ran their Essentials and Garden Select diets alongside the Enriched Life chews and Simple Rewards treats to see how they hold up day to day. We looked at how readily each hamster ate the full pellet (not just picked at it), how the chews handled constant gnawing, and whether the freeze-dried treats stayed firm or crumbled into dust at the bottom of the bin.
