Parasite control is one area where owners need to be especially careful, because the word cleanse covers two very different categories. Some products are actual dewormers that kill intestinal worms, while others are herbal blends that support gut health without treating an active infestation. We compared five products and kept that line bright so you know what you are actually buying. In our evaluation we found that a true worm problem needs a proven dewormer or a veterinary diagnosis, not a botanical cleanse used in hope. Herbal products can have a role in routine gut support, but they are not a reliable replacement for treatment when worms are present. We strongly recommend a fecal test through your veterinarian to identify the specific parasite, because the right medication depends on whether you are dealing with roundworms, hookworms, tapeworms, or something else. Never assume a product covers every parasite.
