The key thing to understand is what each product is for. Freeze-dried patties that carry a complete-and-balanced AAFCO statement can serve as a meal or topper, while jerky, chews, and rabbit feet are treats and should stay under the standard ten percent of daily calories. We checked sourcing transparency, single-ingredient claims, and whether the label actually states it meets AAFCO nutrient profiles for a life stage. If your dog has a confirmed protein allergy, talk to your vet before switching, since cross-contamination and hidden ingredients can undo an elimination diet. For raw and freeze-dried raw, follow FDA and AVMA handling guidance to limit bacterial risk.
