Dog hair gets everywhere, and a cordless vacuum that you can grab without untangling a cord makes regular cleanup far more likely to happen. We evaluated five rechargeable models against manufacturer suction and runtime claims, brush design, and the reliability patterns we see across aggregated owner feedback. Our focus was real pet-hair performance, not just headline suction numbers. A motorized brush roll that resists tangling matters more for fur than raw airflow, and runtime decides whether you finish a whole home on one charge. We separated full-size stick vacuums for floors from handhelds built for sofas, stairs, and car seats. We also weighed filter washability and bin emptying, since both affect how pleasant the chore stays over months of use.
