If you want your dog repping the home team on game day, a bandana is the easiest win. We pulled together the licensed NBA, MLB, and NCAA tie-on bandanas plus a generic reversible option, and ran them through the real test that matters, which is washing. Cheap printed cotton fades fast and the dye can run, so we washed each one several times and checked for bleeding color and frayed edges. We also looked at the tie length, since a short tie will not knot securely on a broad neck like a Lab or a Boxer. None of these are choking-safe for unsupervised wear, so treat them as a walk-and-photo accessory, not something your dog sleeps in. Sizing here runs small. A bandana labeled small to medium often fits a terrier but barely closes on a 60 pound dog. Measure the neck girth first and pick the tie that gives you a comfortable two finger gap.
